SIPCO panels are manufactured for use in a variety
of building applications from self build projects
to schools and hospitals
SIPCO specialise in creating habitable roof solutions – Room-in-the-Roof - to suit existing or new build properties. SIPS technology offers a superb opportunity to maximise headroom in roof and loft spaces, enabling maximum useable floor space whilst providing superb thermal performance and limited air leakage.
By simply incorporating new gable walls, SIP roof and supporting glulam beams it is quite simple to turn a single storey bungalow into a two storey house or dormer bungalow, enabling Velux-style windows to be fitted with ease.
On new build properties the designer has the chance at an early stage to incorporate SIPS into the plans with the help of our Span Guide and the support of the SIPCO technical team.
The reduced zone required for a SIP roof system (typically 150mm or 175mm) optimises space standards and Glulam ridge beams and purlins can be left exposed to create a feature beam.
SIPCO roof systems can be installed quickly and enable the property to be made weather- tight much quicker than if traditional attic trusses were to be used.
